Welcome to the 2010 Woodwork Projects website. I have now been importing and selling Japanese saws for a couple of years, and this has become the main part of the site now that I have more than 60 different types of saw for sale! I still aim to give woodworkers some ideas for projects, together with some constructional details, and I would welcome input from anyone else who is willing to share his or her ideas with other people. If you have an interesting project (or if you would simply like to exchange links with me) please contact me via my contact page. I have also expanded the site to give newcomers to woodworking some ideas on tool selection.
The "Projects" links above will take you to any project currently on the site. Please take the time to look around and feel free to use or modify any of the plans for your own use. Some of the projects are possible with hand tools or small power tools like routers, while others are much easier with serious woodworking machinery.
As mentioned above I now have a shop where you can choose from an extensive selection of the brilliant z-saw range of Japanese pullsaws, all with replaceable blades, and saw guides. Please have a look around my shop: if, like me, you love well-made tools you will find these irresistible. If you are a newcomer to woodworking and power tools, I also strongly recommend a visit to my "tool care and safety" page. It is sad but true that more limbs are lost on woodworking machinery than anywhere else.
