Ultimate Japanese saw set?

This is a comprehensive set of saws for the discerning woodworker (or tool junkie). It comprises 8 different top quality interchangeable blades:
H-250 rip, H-250 hardwood, H-250 cross, H-250 universal, H-265 cross, H-265 cross convex, H-265 universal and H-270 bamboo together with 3 different handles, each of which will fit any of the blades. The handles are:

    • a quality plastic pistol-grip handle,

a traditional rattan-wound wooden handle, and the star of the show

      a puff handle.

The secret of the puff handle only becomes apparent when you start to use it. There is a piston inside the handle which moves backwards and forwards by inertia when the saw is used properly (regular full strokes using the full length of the saw blade rather than short hurried strokes). The piston forces out a fine jet of air which blows away any sawdust obscuring your marked cutting line, as shown in the picture.

The recommended retail price for these items is well over £130 (liable to increase with the fall in value of Sterling against the Yen), and there would be postal charges on top if you were to buy them separately. My exclusive price for this unique set, which you will not find anywhere else in the UK, is only £119.99, post free. So why not forget the credit crunch and treat yourself or a loved one?

Or for an extra £10 (a total of £129.99) add to your order a quality suede saw roll for storing and protecting your saws.

If you would prefer an aluminium handle to the traditional rattan-wound wooden handle, just say so in the "comments" section on the PayPal page.

    Detail saw set

This selection of blades provides something for fine and extra-fine detail woodworking as well as a wonderful piercing blade for cutting in the centre of the workpiece (see a demonstration video here). An ideal present for anyone undertaking regular detail work. You won't find anyone else in the UK selling these tools, and my exclusive price for this package is £52.99 (RRP £58.96).

Details of the included blades (all 240 mm long) are as follows:

    Blade Details
H-240 panel wide Included in this set because of its ability to cope with larger workpieces than the other blades, this 17 TPI blade will give a smoother cut than Western saws with 20 or more TPI. Blade thickness 0.3 mm, kerf 0.51 mm.
H-240 piercing See the link above for the video. A fantastic blade for cutting slits in boards. Blade thickness 0.3 mm, kerf 0.51 mm.
H-240 Dozuki What a saw! Incredibly thin blade (0.3 mm, kerf 0.4 mm) and fine teeth (25 TPI) leave an edge so smooth you almost feel that final sanding is unnecessary.
